Running Target

The disciplines with a “running” target are shot with compressed air rifles at a distance of 10 m and with small caliber rifles at a distance of 50 m. Both disciplines are carried out exclusively in a free-standing position. Until the moment the target becomes visible, the shooter must stand in the ready-to-shoot position, holding his rifle with both hands with the butt of the rifle touching the mark below the elbow. Only when the target appears does the shooter aim the rifle (both hands on the shoulder).
